Technically people tend to find stuff that is leaked from the company. It is sad to know that the distributer that I got it from could be a part of the enterbrain corporation. Sadly, the chances of that are slim.
They might not come out with a valid english version unless it has been cut of its features or is pirated with a chance of getting an infection - if you know what I mean by that.
Basically this one might only be made for those in JPN.
I might as well break the rules of what I said earlier and show you what I found.

Anyway the software is 100% translated when used except for the help screens which have to be set manually.
Though the official comes out you must pay for it. I am not a hacker but am an expert at finding keys. I do not know what I did actually worked. It turns out that one in order to properly regeister their product must translate it into english and use a thing called the english installer. The activation key for Ace comes with a key that is twenty-five letters long. If you have a hex-editor you can find the key.
I recommend not doing this but it involves replacing an executeable as mentioned by you translaters, oh wait, those were the directions I got from an anonymus download a.k.a. pirate or current torrent - I am not one myself because I do not display the software meaning to give it to other people freely non-legally.
It is that the version is translated partially by the DLL with the patches. Anyway we all know about that where it has to be stuck inside the installer folder. I recommend using Hex Workshop 6.6 as a tool. And no this is not free. Okay, so I do have a little blood in me as a past pirate or grayscale.
But no more - I want to help the community a bit by demonstrating that any software can be used or rather activated. - I am not a hacker but I am rather a code reader. It takes a lot of scanning looking for numbers but the key can be found in the file RPGVXAce.chwl
line numbers on the hex editor = 240-285
You will see this line as an example if you have what I have.

The number is 25 digits and there are only 20.
Ignore the periods. Those indicate a value of 0.

Hopefully I do not get in trouble or into a situation with what I kept secret.
Anyway... I am not from Japan so I cannot read unicode which is an unspoken language in a way. I have to use some type of translator. Anyway that is off topic. Point being is you must regeister a valid liscense that you actually have purchased the software or downloaded it freely.
Technically I do not know who owned it before me but it is the actual. I did not download it from the site because of the cost of yen. Even if you download it free or with money the point is the liscense key.
Product has been activated.
To find your key look in the file I mentioned earlier.

Second. I got this from a torrent.
Third... I did it to activate the trial.
Four, I had to read instructions myself.
Five... The product was fully translated but cracked so it may be a bit glitchy based on the liscense or the code used unless there is an actual dll to translate portions of it; (meaning you must reinstall the product if it does not work correctly. That includes runtime principals.)
However, norton detected the broken regeistry as a WS which is not true. That is the exe due to the errors within the product when activated.
6. The application itself just needs to be activated once then place it in a rar zip folder with the rest of the stuff to update it for your system
and there you have it - A copy of Ace.
Technically I would not lie if I had to do all of this to activate the darn thing.
Basically on this site you have the proper dll needed that goes along with the actual trial and or program (used to write over the other original)
